COPIES OF DJEMBÉ RHYTHM
KOPIEN VON DJEMBÉ RHYTHMEN
Yes it is allowed to copy and to use notes below.
These notes I wrote down in a manuscript, as Djembé Students had asked for it.
Now these notes belong to all Students of Djembé.
The ideas are "old", very easy, they were my schooling around 1995, before I met Mamady Keita,
and before I became his student and later teacher of his School TamTam Mandingue.
Still, for the very first weeks around your
Djembé, these exercices, arrangements and interpretations of rhythms, some traditional and some composed rhythms, could serve as a very good basic introduction.
Hope you enjoy.
So I also want to thank so much to all those very nice and important people,
who have developend on my way, those who have given me support,
and off course to so many students,
who have trusted and have participated for some time on my personal path of Djembé.
